One reason I usually bring one. makes things so much easier for everyone, and easier when hotels have the dumbest plug locations ever (behind the bed)

I always bring one of these with me on the road. They go on sale every so often at Woot. Three plugs + 2 USB ports. Great for hotel rooms and airports. I also have a bunch around the house.

I always take one of these in my carryon:

Its compact and is of great use once you arrive at your hotel. Just remember to unplug it before you check out.
